Signs Of Life Seen On Pacific AvenueWILDWOOD- For the past 10 years, local business owners have paid to bring Pacific Avenue back.
According to Business Improvement District officer Jodie DiEduardo, things are starting to look up in Wildwood’s downtown.
“Businesses that are open are staying open,” DiEduardo said Friday during a tour of Pacific Avenue. DiEduardo is also senior vice president at Crest Savings Bank.
She pointed to new businesses like Cattle and Clover and Zippy’s Bikes, which had opened recently and were growing. ....more information

Restaurant Row To Host Inaugural S.I.N. Olympics On July 17thRestaurant Row in Downtown Wildwood will be hosting the Inaugural S.I.N. Olympics on Tuesday, July 17th, starting at 10:30 p.m. on Pacific Avenue between Lincoln and Spicer Avenues.
This unique event will spotlight the heart and soul of the Wildwoods: The hospitality industry, with a special focus on community.
A maximum of 15 teams comprised of hand picked wait staff from local restaurants and bars will compete in a series of events to showcase their skills (and, in the spirit of good clean fun, their heckling abilities).
The top four teams will qualify to go for the Gold in the final obstacle course; Silver and Bronze medals will also be awarded to the second and third place finishers.
Best of all, the winning team will receive the S.I.N. Olympics Trophy, to display in their establishment, and bragging rights for the next year.
A percentage of entrance fee proceeds will benefit Special Olympics. The event will be sponsored by the FOP, which will help judge the competition.

Animal House Set To Rock Pacific Avenue On Independence DayOne of our favorite party bands, Animal House, will perform on the Fourth of July at one of our favorite new venues – Cattle ‘n Clover‘s open-air stage on Pacific Avenue.

Since Cattle ‘n Clover’s grand opening in March, its unique and growing variety of entertainment has put an Irish jig in the right step toward Downtown Wildwoods’ revitalization.
Cattle ‘n Clover is certainly living up to its rich history in music and live entertainment, serving as the venue (then known as the Rainbow Club) for Chubby Checker’s debut of “The Twist” in the 1950’s.
A large wooden garage door slides up to reveal a stage even Checker himself would be itching to twist on.
The elevated stage opens directly onto the sidewalk inviting everyone to enjoy a variety of entertainment from Singer/Songwriter Kris Scherer to Hydeaway, to Animal House, a six piece party dance band that will rock Pacific Avenue’s upcoming 4th of July ....more information

Wildwood Bars And Restuarants Will Stream Kenny Chesney ConcertWILDWOOD - City officials in Wildwood spent the day preparing for the massive crowds expected to come to town for Wednesday night's Kenny Chesney Concert. Wildwood Cooks Up New St. Patrick's Day TraditionWILDWOOD, N.J., March 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The newest Wildwood restaurant sensation, Cattle 'N Clover will reach for Guinness History – as in Guinness Book of World Records – at the Inaugural Wildwood St. Patrick's Day Block Party, on March 17 from 9am – 10pm, on Pacific Avenue - between Spicer and Lincoln Avenues. Bear witness as an Official Guinness Judge presides over the construction of a scale tipping, 1,790-pound Shepherd's Pie, an accomplishment that will solidify Wildwood's rightful spot in this world-renowned book.
